Sweet Talk with the Sweet Sixteens: August 9th

Welcome to Week Thirty-Two of Sweet Talk with the Sweet Sixteens! To see more details about Sweet Talk as well as previous posts, see the introduction post. Thanks to Charlene (Bookish Whimsy), for designing the banner and button for Sweet Talk.

There are NO Sweet Sixteens books publishing on August 9th! I debated not having a post at all, but I already put the August 9th entry in the Rafflecopter, and, well, my inner perfectionist refuses to not have a post for one week of the year (this is a weekly feature!).

So today, since there are no Sweet Sixteens publications, I'm going to spotlight some August 2nd releases that are not debuts! These published last week.

  1. A Promise of Fire was so good! One of my favorite reads of 2016.

  2. United, since I am already invested in the series, and I have to know how it all ends.

  4. Ahh yes, The Beauty of Darkness. I do want to read that one at some point so I can finish the trilogy, but my enthusiasm has been dampened by some pretty lukewarm reviews...

A Promise of Fire! So great. I've recommended it to basically everyone I know, haha.

  8. I think I'd like to read United. I haven't kept up with the series, so I probably need to backtrack those.
